Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa should resign from his post and keep the promise he made yesterday, SLPP MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage said.
“The Opposition Leader promised he will resign if the allegation of misusing the Central Cultural Fund is proved. We like to know whether he will do it,” the MP said.
Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella who responded said that the Central Cultural Fund had been utilized subjected to Cabinet approval. So, the Leader of the Opposition does not have to resign on that score.
