In response to MP Mano Ganesan’s concerns about the registration of the Tamil community in Colombo, Minister of Public Security Tiran Allas assured the Parliament that the entire population of Sri Lanka, regardless of their ethnic background, will be registered with the police. He emphasized that registration forms will be printed in all three languages and distributed accordingly. Furthermore, the Minister stated that an online database will be established to ensure that individuals can be easily identified at any given time.
