he Examinations Department announced the release of the 2023 Grade 5 scholarship examination results today, the Department’s Commissioner General H.J.M.C Amith Jayasundara said.
He said the results of this examination will be released through the official websites of the Examinations Department: www.doenets.lk and www.results.exams.gov.lk.
The examination was held on October 15, and a total of 338,737 candidates sat for the exam. Among the 332,949 students who had sat for the exam, 50,664 obtained marks higher than the cut-off mark.
A total of 20,000 scholarships will be granted to the children, and 250 scholarships will be granted to students with special needs.
District ranks or island ranks will not be issued at this time.
