No less than 40 individuals have passed on following the blast of a gas big hauler in north-focal Liberia, the West African country’s central clinical official, Francis Kateh, said on Wednesday.

The fuel truck crashed late on Tuesday in Totota, Lower Bong Region, and not long after detonated, killing and harming numerous who had run to the scene.

Kateh told reporters that dozens of people with severe burns are still in the hospital and that the death toll could rise.
