The costs of all alcohol items fabricated by the Refineries Organization of Sri Lanka PLC (DCSL) are supposed to go up from 01 January 2024.
As a result, the prices of all DCSL liquor brands will rise by Rs. 90, Rs. 50 and Rs. 20, per 750ml, 375ml and 180ml, separately.
The expanded costs are scheduled to become effective following the inconvenience of the changed Worth Added Assessment (Tank).
The Tank (Alteration) Bill was passed in Parliament on 11 December, and the applicable assessment was in this way supported to be expanded by 3%, from 15% to 18%.
