The Kurunegala Teaching Hospital faced a delay in receiving the new scanning machine as it was held up at Customs. This delay was attributed to the National Medicine Regulatory Authority (NMRA), according to State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe’s statement in Parliament today. However, we took action and successfully resolved the issue, resulting in the machine being released to the Kurunegala Hospital yesterday.
